Before our US Masters Texas Scramble Tour tees off for another season, we’re excited to introduce something brand new for 2026 — a Masters Week of competitive golf events, designed especially for single golfers.

To celebrate the US Masters, we’re giving individual players the chance to win the trip of a lifetime to Augusta National. So whether you’ve no golfing pals, pals who aren’t very good, or you simply don’t enjoy Texas Scrambles, this is your opportunity to get to the US Masters.

The Competition

We’ll be hosting 20 qualifying events across Scotland during Masters Week 2026 (April 6–12).

Each event will be run by the Golf in Scotland team, with:

Best Scratch score and Best Handicap score at each venue qualifying for Our National Final at Slaley Hall in June.

From there, the winning Scratch and Handicap golfers at the National Final will join us for an unforgettable 5-night trip to the US Masters in April 2027, including:

  • Flights
  • Accommodation
  • 2 rounds of golf
  • Tickets for one tournament day at The US Masters

Quite simply, the best prize in amateur golf.

Event Format & Eligibility

Format: Individual Stableford

Players must be members of a golf club with an active handicap

Scratch section: No handicap restrictions

Handicap section:

  • Maximum playing handicap of 18
  • Maximum of 1 shot per hole
  • Higher handicaps will be reduced to the maximum allowance

Prizes at Each Qualifier

  • Top 3 players in both Scratch and Handicap sections

  • Closest to the Pin and Longest Drive competitions

  • Par 3 Sweep
